Futsal Development

Since 2017, Houston Futsal Association (HFA) has been a true pioneer of futsal in Houston, leading the growth of the game and shaping how youth players experience the sport.

From our humble beginnings on a slippery-tile futsal court to national competition, HFA has built futsal teams that have competed in top-level events such as USYF Nationals, USSF Nationals, and United Futsal Championships in Orlando, among many others.

Our development programs are a part of our dual 2-in-1 methodology, designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and technical excellence in every player. We want to share this methodology with your child and the community through a year-round pathway that includes:

FUTURE 5 FUTSAL

Houston Futsal Association has delivered high-level, exciting futsal events to Greater Houston since 2017.

Our Future 5 events bring clubs and players from across the city together to experience competitive play, learning, and development.

Rooted in the belief that futsal accelerates technical skill, decision-making, and confidence, our mission is simple: provide the best futsal experiences in Houston – season after season.

Futsal Friday is where Houston’s players play in a coach free enviroment. Join the fun and finish the week with Futsal.

Future 5 Futsal returns this October—elite competition and player development for Houston’s futsal community.

Team Cost: $425 (includes referee fees)
Spectator Fee: $5 per person
Game Format: 3 Pool Play Games & Championship Final for top two teams
(40 min games)

Future 5 - Spring Futsal League

Stay Sharp This Spring!

The Future 5 Spring Futsal League is Houston’s Spring-season program designed to keep players active, creative, and competitive. Hosted by Houston Futsal Club’s Future 5 Program, this league brings together players from across the city for small-sided, high-energy futsal matches. Players experience the essence of futsal — precision, quick decision-making, and confidence — in a fun, family-friendly environment.

Game Format

4-Team Round Robin per division
Top 2 teams advance to the Final
3rd and 4th place teams play a Consolation Match
Points System: Win = 3 pts | Draw = 1 pt | Loss = 0 pts

League Dates:
March 1, 2026 – April 19, 2026

Divisions: 9 total divisions (Boys & Girls 2018–2014)

Format: Round Robin + Finals

Guaranteed Games: 7 per team

Game Duration: 40 minutes (20-minute halves)

Summer Indoor League 2025

Get ready for an exciting and refreshed version of Summer Indoor Soccer, designed to fuel player development, sharpen skills, and bring together the community for a season full of high-energy action!

Outside teams are welcome! Whether you’re joining with friends, your club teammates, or on your own, we’ll group players thoughtfully based on age, ability, and familiarity to maximize team chemistry and player growth.

2019, 2020’s: 3v3 games – no goalkeepers, just fast, fun play

2018’s: 5v5 format with goalkeepers – introducing more structured gameplay

2017’s & Older: 7v7 format – high-speed, full-squad indoor action

Creativity meets competition! No drills, no coaches shouting — just kids learning the game by playing it. Inspired by the German Football Federation’s methods for developing creativity.

Houston Futsal’s GDP is excited to offer three awesome ways to keep your player moving, improving, and loving the game all Summer long! Whether you’re looking for technical training, creative street soccer vibes, or fast-paced futsal action — we’ve got you covered.

⚽ Monday Nights: GDP Technical Sessions

Develop new skills, sharpen technique, and put them into play with small-sided games. A fun, focused way to keep your player growing this summer!
